Recarburizers play an essential role in the steel and cast-iron industry. They adjust the carbon content of the molten metal and thus influence physical properties such as, hardness, strength, or chip formation of the finished product. This is especially relevant in the automotive industry, as well as in toolmaking and engineering.
Our Delivery Range
Our recarburizers are available in different chemical specifications, particle sizes, and packaging options, in order to meet the specific requirements of foundries, steelworks, and other metallurgical applications.
Graphite: Graphite is a high-purity carbon additive (C > 99%) and therefore mainly used in nodular cast iron foundries or when fine-adjusting carbon content.
Calcined anthracite: Calcined anthracite is a pure carbon additive that is purified by heating up natural anthracite. We offer gas-calcined anthracite (GCA) and electrically calcined anthracite (ECA).
Calcined petcoke: Calcined petcoke is mostly utilized in the aluminium industry to produce anodes and as a reducing agent and recarburizer in the steel industry.
Anode butts: Anodes can be used as a substitute for foundry coke in cupola furnace foundries. They offer outstanding mechanical properties while having advantageous procurement costs.
Our global network and strong logistics capacities are supported by long-standing, close business relationships and collaborations with renowned freight forwarders and shipping companies.
Thanks to these partnerships, we are able to offer you flexible and reliable transport solutions that are tailored to your needs. This way, we help you to maintain efficient and uninterrupted production processes – even during challenging times.
