Ferro Molybdenum
Moly Oxide (MoOx) is produced by roasting Molybdenite Ore (MoS2) at very high temperatures, forming a yellowish-white sandy powder. The main uses for MoOx are as direct addition to steel produced in the electric arc furnace or to smelt into Ferro Moly for further addition to the steel melt. MoOx is also used in catalysts, ceramic glazes, enamels and pigments and agricultural applications including fertilizers.
FerroMolybdän
FeMo is produced by aluminothermic reduction of MoOx in the presence of iron and typically contains 60% - 70% Moly. It is used as an additive to stainless, tool and high temperature low alloy steels, particularly for the automotive, aerospace, gas and oil pipeline and construction sectors.

Ferro Vanadium
Ferro Vanadium has potent strengthening and hardening properties and encourages heat resistance. It is used as an additive in alloy, tool and spring steel, particularly for the production of construction reinforcing bars, rails, axels, crankshafts and gears in cars and cutting tools.

Ferro Tungsten
Ferro Tungsten has great hardening and conductive properties and is used to increase the abrasion resistance and strength of special steels. It is used as an essential additive in the production of tool steels, high speed steels and heat resistant steels. Tungsten has the second highest melting point of any element and the increase in an alloy’s melting point by addition of Ferro Tungsten makes it highly suitable for specialist applications including some aerospace applications.
